This Privacy Policy describes how Terra Solutions Contractors & Investments LLC ("TeamTerra," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you use the TeamTerra.ai platform ("Platform"), including our mobile applications (iOS and Android) and website.

By creating an account or using the Platform, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Information we collect

1.1 Information you provide

• Account information: Full name, email address, phone number, city, state, zip code, and password.
• Profile information: Trade or profession, skills, years of experience, hourly rate, portfolio photos, work history, certifications, and bio.
• Company information (seekers): Company name, contact person, business type.
• Payment information: Subscription purchases are processed through Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or our payment processors. We do not directly store credit card numbers.
• Communications: Messages sent through the in-app chat system, interest cards, and flash hire broadcasts.
• Legal consents: Your acceptance of Terms of Service, privacy consents, independent contractor acknowledgments, and TCPA consent records, including timestamps, device type, and time spent reading.

1.2 Information collected automatically

• Usage data: App interactions, feature usage, search queries, screens viewed, and session duration.
• Device information: Device type, operating system version, app version, unique device identifiers, and push notification tokens.
• Log data: IP address, browser type, access times, and referring URLs (web platform).

• Match workers with contractors and project opportunities
• Process subscriptions and in-app purchases
• Send transactional notifications (messages, interest cards, flash hires, account activity)
• Send marketing communications (with your consent; you may opt out at any time)
• Verify portfolio photos using AI-powered content moderation
• Detect and prevent fraud, fake profiles, and prohibited content
• Ensure Platform safety, security, and integrity
• Comply with legal obligations
• Generate aggregated, de-identified analytics to improve the Platform

3. AI technology disclosure

TeamTerra uses artificial intelligence technology, including OpenAI's GPT-4o API, for the following purposes:

• Analyzing and verifying portfolio photos for quality, trade relevance, and prohibited content
• Detecting fraudulent or fake profiles
• Generating smart matching insights
• Processing and understanding inbound communications

Your profile data and portfolio content may be processed by OpenAI's API. OpenAI processes this data pursuant to its API Terms of Service and Data Processing Agreement. TeamTerra does not use your data to train AI models. AI-generated analyses include confidence scores and are auditable. AI does not make hiring decisions — it supplements human judgment only.

4. How we share your information

TeamTerra does NOT sell your personal information to third parties.

We may share your information with:

• Other Platform users: Your profile information (name, trade, portfolio, approximate location during Pulse Mode) is visible to other users as necessary to facilitate connections.
• Service providers: Third-party services necessary to operate the Platform, including:
  • Supabase (database and authentication)
  • OpenAI (AI-powered photo moderation and analysis)
  • RevenueCat (subscription management)
  • Apple / Google (in-app purchase processing)
  • Expo (push notifications and app infrastructure)
• Legal requirements: When required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
• Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the acquiring entity.

5. Data retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Platform services. If you delete your account, we will delete or de-identify your personal information within 30 days, except as required by law (e.g., financial records, legal compliance).

Messages, interest cards, and flash hire records are retained for 12 months after the last activity, then automatically purged.

AI moderation results and confidence scores are retained for 90 days for audit purposes.

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and personal data. You can delete your account directly from the app (Profile → Settings → Delete Account) or by contacting us.
• Portability: Request your data in a portable format.
• Opt-out: Opt out of marketing communications at any time.
• Restrict processing: Request that we limit how we use your data.

7. California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):

• Right to know: You may request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
• Right to delete: You may request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
• Right to opt out of sale: We do not sell personal information. If this changes, we will provide a "Do Not Sell My Personal Information" link.
• Right to non-discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights.

8. Florida digital rights

In compliance with Florida Statute 934.50 and applicable state privacy laws, TeamTerra does not use your location data to track you beyond the express purpose of worker-contractor matching within the Platform. Location data collected during Pulse Mode is used solely for real-time visibility features and is not stored permanently beyond the active session.

9. Communications (TCPA compliance)

By providing your phone number and creating an account, you expressly consent to receive:

• Transactional SMS messages regarding account activity, matches, and platform updates
• Push notifications regarding job opportunities, messages, and interest cards
• Email communications regarding your account, billing, and platform news

This consent is provided pursuant to the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), 47 U.S.C. § 227, and Florida's Telephone Solicitation Act (FTSA), Fla. Stat. § 501.059.

You may opt out at any time by: replying STOP to any text message; disabling notifications in your device settings; updating preferences in the app (Profile → Settings → Notifications); or contacting info@terrasolutionstech.ai.

10. Children's privacy

The Platform is not intended for anyone under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 18, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

11. Data security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including:

• Encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest
• Row-level security (RLS) policies on all database tables
• Secure authentication via Supabase Auth
• AI-powered content moderation on all user uploads
• Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

12. Third-party links

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.

13. Changes to this privacy policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on the Platform and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
